The Royal Norwegian Air Force (Luftforsvaret, lit. 'The Air
Defence') is the air force of Norway. It was established as a separate arm of
the Norwegian Armed Forces on 10 November 1944.
Flag of the Norwegian Air
Force is light blue with eagle over a white scroll where the motto is written –
“Konge, Folk og
Fedreland” (King, People and Fatherland). The Norwegian crown is placed
over the emblem.

Ensign of Air Force is light blue with white eagle and crown are placed in
upper hoist, while Norwegian aircraft marking is placed in lower fly.
